We are growing a thriving mechanical team known for passionate, high‑integrity people delivering technical excellence across tailings and waste storage facilities, water management structures, dams, and mine infrastructure projects. Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on the design, analysis, and delivery of mechanical systems for tailings storage facilities (TSFs), slurry pipelines, and mine infrastructure projects.

  • Integrity – trust, respect, accountability, and professionalism.

  • Excellence – delivering robust, defensible, risk‑informed engineering solutions.

What You Will Do

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and technical leaders who will support your development in slurry systems, pipeline design, and hydraulic modelling.

  • Assist in the design of tailings pipelines, pump stations, and slurry transfer systems.

  • Provide support with hydraulic calculations, stress analysis, and planning for process piping.

  • Contribute to the design and review of pressure vessels, storage tanks, and custom spool configurations.

  • Support steady‑state pipeline hydraulic design using Excel or software such as AFT Fathom and Bentley Hammer.”

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams across project delivery.

What You Bring

Essential

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Exposure to piping, fluids, or mechanical systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Tailings or slurry pipeline experience.

  • Hydraulic modelling (AFT, Bentley).

  • Pressure vessel or tank design.

  • CFD exposure.

What We Offer

  • Competitive remuneration: Salary range $80,000 – $120,000.

  • Additional Superannuation: 2.5% extra to secure your future.

  • Income Protection Insurance: Peace of mind for you and your family.

  • Parental and Volunteer Leave: Support for your personal and community commitments.

  • Option to Purchase Leave: Up to 15 additional annual leave days per annum.

  • Novated Leasing: Flexible vehicle leasing options.

  • Hybrid Working Policy: Balance work and life with our flexible approach.

  • Social and Mental Well-being Initiatives: Programs to support your overall well-being.

  • Training and Development Opportunities: Continuous growth and learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer who is looking to build specialist expertise in slurry pipelines and tailings infrastructure while working on international, high-impact projects.
