Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
Maintain the facility and grounds in compliance with SQF and GMP Standards.
Ensure that waste is handled in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Manage the sanitation chemical inventory and approved chemical list.
Audits the facility and grounds daily for cleanliness and adherence to Food Safety protocols.
Maintains records in accordance with Good Documentation Practice.
Reports any problems to supervisor promptly and prescribes resolution.
Ensures cleanliness of floors, restrooms, and other employee areas.
Ensures that external doors, windows, and other openings are effectively sealed against the entry of pests and dirt.
Ensures the grounds are clean and free of debris and that trash receptacles are covered.
Ensures that brooms, brushes, tools, utensils, and mops are clean, in good repair, and hung appropriately throughout the plant.
Ensures that any chemicals used for sanitation are approved, Food Grade or better.
Ability to self-direct activities, prioritize tasks.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with different levels of employees and management.
Handle urgent situations in a professional manner.
Maintain a proactive approach to anticipated concerns/situations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
