Monitor the learning and development of staff within the Division and across CSNSW for increased efficiencies and effectiveness of radio communication systems and security systems including maintenance and storage procedures for equipment and secure data including site plans, equipment manuals and instructions.
Develop controls for early detection, review, evaluation, reporting and remedy of actual breaches in the radio communication systems and ensuring assessment and advance resolution of potential risk factors.
Coordinate the acquisition, programming and maintenance of CSNSW 2-way radio fleet.
Conduct a program of audits and inspection of all facilities to ensure consistency and reliability of radio communication systems.
Monitor the performance and efficiency of contractors in maintaining radio communication systems at optimal performance levels and in line with contractual obligations and either resolve issues or escalate via the appropriate channels for resolution.
Prepare briefings, data and reports for senior management and stakeholders to inform decision making.
