This means that your lived experience, cultural knowledge and community connection is essential to succeeding in this role and the services being provided. The primary purpose of the role is to: Ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are informed of their legal options and assist in addressing their unmet legal needs. Assist legal officers and administrative staff to help develop, coordinate, facilitate and implement outreach services, community legal education sessions and engagement with Aboriginal communities. Assist the Solicitor in Charge, Office Manager, Regional Program Coordinators and Solicitors on local community issues that may arise. About You You are passionate about supporting Aboriginal communities and improving access to legal services. You build strong relationships with clients, Elders, and service providers, and bring cultural insight to help shape inclusive outreach and education programs. You’re a confident communicator, a collaborative team member, and committed to making a difference.
