Salary Classification: Legal Officer Grade V
Salary: $ 154,403 - 157,430 p.a. base salary (employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading is paid in addition to the base salary.)
Work type: Full-Time – 35 hours per week, Temporary and Ongoing
* Our primary place of work is the CSO Office located at 60-70 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. Please note we will be relocating to a new premises located at Parkline Place, 252 Pitt Street, Sydney in July 2026.
About the Role
This recruitment will be used to create a talent pool for the Torts Justice practice group. This talent pool may be used to fill ongoing and temporary full-time and part-time Senior Solicitor vacancies (Legal Officer Grade V) that may arise over the next 18 months.
As a Senior Solicitor (Legal Officer Grade V), you will be providing high level advice and representation to the Crown Solicitor’s clients in a range of complex litigation matters.
The successful candidate/s will be able to demonstrate capacity to supervise the work of junior solicitors in the practice group and ensure the provision of high quality, cost-effective and client-focussed legal services.
