INTERNSHIP DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: RGA’s USIM Strategic Management & Execution function is responsible for translating USIM strategy into coordinated, highquality execution across strategically important initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, governance, and crossfunctional alignment, ensuring that priority initiatives deliver intended business outcomes.  

INTERNSHIP POSITION OVERVIEW: The intern will begin by getting a base knowledge of the reinsurance world and understanding of how a new product is determined, planned, and executed. In addition, throughout the program, they will aid with creating project tracking documents, including project reporting, and get exposure to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, and project management software (Planisware).  

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:   

  • Typing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills as needed 

  • Ability to meticulously oversee substantial amounts of project data while being able to stay detail oriented 

  • Collaboration with other interns to accomplish tasks assigned 

  • Ability to work cross functionally to support the team by collaborating with team 

  • Projects as assigned with completion according to instructions
