INTERNSHIP DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:  

 

Part of the RGA Innovation and Content team, Enterprise Marketing and Communications' mission is to protect RGA’s global reputation by shaping perceptions through effective and consistent messages. Enterprise Communications is responsible for RGA's public relations, social media, executive messaging, internal communications, editorial and digital content, and thought leadership activities across the company. 

 

We also work collaboratively with local and regional teams to develop materials, deliver exceptional experiences, and create opportunities to attract, nurture, and retain clients and partners to drive long-term value.

INTERNSHIP POSITION OVERVIEW 

 

The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise marketing operations and digital communications within a global organization. This role is focused on marketing technology, asset governance, and process documentation that support client engagement and brand consistency worldwide. 

 

A primary focus of the internship will be supporting a structured audit and consolidation of employee bios and bio photography. These assets are currently distributed across multiple systems (including MediaValet, SharePoint, Wrike, and email), creating versioning risk, brand inconsistency, and inefficiencies for Communications, Marketing, and regional teams. 

 

The intern will help establish a reliable, repeatable “single source of truth” by validating approved assets, organizing them within a structured SharePoint library, and documenting a scalable process that can be reused across the enterprise. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:   

  • Typing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills as needed 

  • Audit existing employee bios and photos across systems 

  • Confirm approved versions and document approvals 

  • Consolidate assets into a structured SharePoint library 

  • Apply standardized naming conventions (including yearbased dating) 

  • Identify and resolve gaps or duplicates 

  • Document the final, repeatable process for future use
