Your Impact

You will play a critical role in delivering Newmont’s business strategy by attracting, engaging, and selecting exceptional talent for our Projects group across North America and Latin America. Through strong partnerships with hiring leaders and stakeholders, you will help build diverse, high‑performing teams that support the successful delivery of major capital and project initiatives.

As a part of our team, you will
  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for Project‑based roles, from role scoping and sourcing through offer and onboarding support
  • Support hiring across Newmont’s Projects organization in North America and Latin America
  • Recruit for professional and leadership roles critical to project delivery and execution
  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers, People Business Partners, Legal Compensation and Global Mobility teams
  • Champion an inclusive, high‑quality experience for both internal and external candidates
  • Support internal mobility through transfers, promotions, and rotational assignments
  • Represent Newmont at in-person recruiting events, such as career fairs, university job expos, industry hiring days, or community employment events
  • Collaborate with external search partners and vendors as needed
  • Continuously improve recruitment practices to align with evolving project and business needs
Prerequisites For Your Success in This Role
  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment, ideally within projects, engineering, construction, or operational environments within the mining industry
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, and interview best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast‑paced, project‑driven setting
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively support stakeholders and candidates across regions
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and ethical recruitment standards
Your Work Environment
You will operate as an individual contributor within a highly collaborative, values‑driven environment, partnering with teams across regions and functions. This role requires comfort working across geographies, time zones, and with both internal and external stakeholders to support project hiring demands. Periodic travel to site locations may be required.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,500 - 115,300. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
