About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities division is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lead Maintenance Works Coordinator.
The Lead Maintenance Works Coordinator is accountable for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and performance of maintenance delivery across the program. The role ensures works are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and KPI requirements. The role holds direct accountability for achieving schedule compliance, on-time delivery, and planning efficiency outcomes.

- Reporting Line: Asset and Optimisation Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Works Coordinators to deliver against schedule, delivery, and efficiency KPIs. Establish performance expectations, monitor team outputs, and act as escalation point for delivery risks.
Govern planning and scheduling activities ensuring high schedule compliance, forward planning, and optimisation through bundling and sequencing.
Monitor performance against on-time completion, SLA compliance, and backlog targets. Resolve constraints impacting delivery.
Drive improvements in planning efficiency, productivity, and standardisation using performance data.
About You
You’re a natural planner who thrives in fast-paced environments, with a passion for keeping work organised, on track, and running efficiently:
- Experience in a people management position
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination roles (2+ years) or 5+ years in related maintenance/operations roles
- Strong experience with job scheduling systems (e.g. Click or similar)
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g. Ellipse or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and optimise schedules under pressure
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, efficiency, and collaboration
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders
