Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical, technically proficient, and fast-learning Service Sales Analytics and Solutions Specialist to join our Service Sales team. This role is critical to driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth through a combination of data-driven decision support, advanced analytics, AI-enabled reporting, and direct participation in quoting and selling complex service and upgrade solutions.
The ideal candidate brings expert-level Excel capability, strong working knowledge of SAP, SAP C4C, FN600, BMI, and Power BI, and the ability to apply AI-enabled tools to modernize reporting, streamline workflows, and enhance sales effectiveness. In addition to analytics leadership, this role maintains hands-on responsibility for complex quoting, service add-ons, upgrades, and ad hoc sales support.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Service Sales Analytics, AI Enablement & Business Intelligence
• Own end-to-end service sales analytics, reporting, and insight generation to support data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage SAP, SAP C4C, FN600, BMI, and related systems to analyze service performance, contract profitability, renewals, backlog, and customer trends.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel models to provide real-time visibility into KPIs, pipeline, renewals, billing trends, and upsell opportunities.
• Implement and utilize AI-enabled tools to automate reporting, data preparation, forecasting, and insight generation.
• Introduce predictive analytics such as renewal risk, upgrade propensity, and upsell targeting.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for Service Sales leadership and field teams.
2. Complex Quoting, Selling & Commercial Support
• Execute complex quoting and solution design including system upgrades, service add-ons, Time and Material, enhancements, and non-standard or ad hoc customer requests.
• Partner with Service Sales, Equipment Sales, Service Delivery, and customers to scope requirements, structure solutions, and finalize pricing.
• Apply analytics to support pricing strategy, margin analysis, deal justification, and renewal prioritization.
• Manage service contracts, time-and-materials quotes, and upgrade quotes with speed and accuracy.
3. Customer, Contract & Renewal Management
• Support contract documentation, renewals, amendments, and retention initiatives using data-driven prioritization.
• Serve as a data-informed customer contact, ensuring proactive communication and accurate records throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Identify upselling, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities through customer and contract analysis.
4. Billing Resolution & Process Optimization
• Investigate billing discrepancies using SAP and related systems, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Optimize and standardize analytics, reporting, and quoting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
• Document processes and support continuous improvement across service sales operations.
Required Skills & Education:
• Minimum 6 years of directly related, proven experience in service sales, sales support, sales operations, analytics, or a related role.
• Expert-level Excel skills.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, SAP C4C, FN600, BMI, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or executing complex service, upgrade, or solution-based quoting.
• Proven ability to apply data analytics and AI-enabled tools to commercial and operational challenges.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
