Job Description
Saint Nicholas Catholic School in Saint Nicholas Catholic School seeks a mission-driven, relational, and organized Co-Director of Advancement and Community Engagement to help strengthen and grow our vibrant Catholic school community. St. Nicholas Catholic School is a Preschool through 8th grade Catholic school residing on the grounds of, and in partnership with, the Saint Nicholas Parish community. Guided by our mission and rooted in the Catholic faith, we are committed to fostering academic excellence, discipleship, and meaningful relationships among our students, families, parishioners, alumni, and supporters.
REPORTS TO: School Principal
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Hourly
WORK SCHEDULE: 20 hours per week
BENEFITS: This position is part time and not benefits eligible
PAY: $19,000-$19,536 based on experience, education, and certification
Position Summary
The Co-Director of Advancement and Community Engagement plays a vital role in cultivating a joyful, connected, and generous school community. This individual will help lead fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, hospitality efforts, and community-building events that support both the mission and long-term sustainability of the school. The ideal candidate is energetic, welcoming, highly organized, and passionate about bringing people together in support of Catholic education.
Responsibilities Include
- Coordinating and supporting school fundraising initiatives and donor development efforts
- Building relationships with current and prospective donors, families, parishioners, and community supporters
- Planning and promoting community-building and appreciation events that foster school spirit and engagement
- Collaborating with volunteers, parish leadership, PTO, and school administration to execute successful events and campaigns
- Assisting with event sponsorships, outreach, communications, and hospitality efforts
- Supporting advancement strategies that strengthen enrollment, community involvement, and philanthropic giving

Qualifications
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in fundraising, event planning, hospitality, marketing, or community engagement preferred
- Ability to organize multiple projects and work collaboratively with volunteers and staff
- Creative, self-motivated, and relationship-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with digital communication and event coordination tools preferred
