Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Project Specialist with strong grounding in supply chain planning to lead and execute strategic SCM initiatives. You will act as the bridge between planning operations and project execution, leveraging deep planner knowledge to drive impactful projects across forecasting, allocation, supply planning, and system/process improvements.
In this role, you will translate operational planning challenges into structured projects, ensuring successful delivery while enhancing overall supply chain performance and resilience.
What you will do
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead Strategic SCM Projects: Manage end-to-end supply chain projects, including planning transformation, process optimization, and system enhancements.
Structured Delivery: Define project scope, milestones, resources, and timelines using standard project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall).
Execution Excellence: Drive project implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
Planning Expertise & Business Translation
Leverage Planning Knowledge: Apply expertise in demand/supply planning, allocation, and S&OP to identify improvement opportunities and project initiatives.
Translate Business Needs: Convert complex planning and operational challenges into clear project requirements and actionable solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Stakeholder Management: Act as the key interface between SCM, operations, IT, and business teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
Orchestration: Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive consensus on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across the organization.
Systems & Process Improvement
System Enablement: Partner with IT and system experts to enhance supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, planning systems, reporting platforms).
Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in planning processes and lead initiatives to standardize and improve workflows.
What you will need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning (Demand/Supply/Allocation) combined with project management experience.
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, preferably in semiconductor industries.
Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, and allocation processes.
Hands-on experience with planning systems (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar).
Proven track record of leading cross-functional supply chain projects or transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into insights and actions.
