What You’ll Be Doing
As our HR Generalist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting both the employee experience and the business, serving as a trusted partner to leaders and employees across salaried and hourly populations.
- Talent Scout: Lead full-cycle recruiting, using strong talent instincts and relationship-building skills to attract, assess, and land top talent while delivering a standout candidate experience
- Peace Ambassador: Serve as a go-to resource for employee relations, where strong people instincts and sound judgment help navigate challenges, coach leaders, and drive fair, consistent outcomes
- Host the Experience: Support onboarding and new hire integration, bringing organization and attention to detail to create a smooth, engaging day-one experience that sticks
- Collaborator: Partners with leaders across the business, using communication skills and business acumen to align people strategies with real operational needs
- Bias for Execution: Drive and support HR projects, where strong execution and prioritization skills help move initiatives forward and deliver results
- Read the Room: Apply diplomacy and emotional intelligence to manage conflict, de-escalate situations, and maintain a positive, respectful workplace
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, backed by strong HR fundamentals and a proactive, risk-aware mindset
- Results Driven: Support performance management, reinforcing clear expectations, accountability, and a culture of ongoing feedback
- People First: Contribute to engagement, recognition, and retention efforts, bringing energy and a people-first mindset to programs that make an impact
- Detail Oriented: Maintain accurate HR data and documentation, where analytical skills and attention to detail ensure clean, reliable insights
- Partnership: Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, and leadership, helping create a seamless, responsive HR experience
- Process Driven: Bring a continuous improvement mindset, spotting opportunities to simplify, streamline, and elevate how HR gets done
What You Bring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence-without-authority at all levels of the organization
- A passion for recruiting and talent acquisition, with the talent scout ability to identify high-quality candidates
- Solid employee relations experience, with sound judgment and the ability to navigate confidential situations
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, balancing employee advocacy with business needs
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, especially in compliance-related work
- Analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret patterns in data and provide actionable insights
- Adaptability and resilience, comfortable navigating change and ambiguity
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams and functions
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees especially in manufacturing (ideal) or candidates with a background supporting hourly populations in retail, restaurant, hotel, leisure, or hospitality environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist role or across one or more HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition is ideal, Employee Relations, or Total Rewards)
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, and onboarding
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Experience supporting HR projects or initiatives from planning through execution
- Strong proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems (ADP experience ideal)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
