We are seeking a Safety & Health professional for a prominent role with one of our largest accounts. This unique position will provide strategic leadership consulting to several related business units that support warehousing, picking, packing and shipping of key industry sectors such as healthcare, high tech and retail markets.

 

The role requires strong initiative, technical depth, thought leadership, and the ability to manage complex priorities that overlap health & safety, logistics operations, sustainable risk reduction, industrial hygiene and prevention through design disciplines. Requires exemplary relationship-building skills, service management expertise, acute customer focus, and a passion for quality execution. Additionally, the ability to effective manage workload in multiple locations across several time zones. This unique role combines program development and administration with on-site services to ensure depth in understanding customer operations, procedures and culture.

 

Responsibilities:

Account Service: Manage workload independently, recognize where gaps exist and proactively initiate customized service plans to improve performance. Work with internal and external leadership/employee teams to provide comprehensive, highly sophisticated consulting services and achieve key performance metrics. 

Continuous Improvement: Practice growth mindset for continuous improvement of work product and service delivery in a collaborative way that demonstrates consistent innovation.

Industrial Hygiene: Promote strategies and methodologies to control risk via hierarchy of controls and evaluate occupational disease exposures with the ability to present business case solutions and articulate controls.

Program Development: Research, develop and implement various safety, health and industrial hygiene programs

 

Position requires occasional early morning, evening, or weekend service based on operational needs.

 

Requires approximately 25% overnight travel conducting on site assessments, executing strategic objectives, engaging key stakeholders with delivery of quality work product demonstrating our value in a timely manner.

  • Please Note: This position is eligible to be hired at different levels depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, engineering or related areas (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or progressive safety/heath field.
  • Candidates are typically working towards (or obtained) an advanced degree and/or professional certification in one or more of the following areas: CSP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIH, or CPE.
  • Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in a specialized field, service planning and delivery, risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement.
  • Fully effective interpersonal, writing and other communication skills required to develop and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve and enter information using various proprietary software applications and create/modify documents and complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Position requires regular travel.

 

Employees may apply for a new role after completing 12 months of employment in their current position.
