Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Purchasing and Planning Manager will lead the strategic and long-term production and material planning and ensure the high level of customer service for domestic and export customers.
Key responsibilities:
1) Long-term capacity planning for finished goods, semi-finished goods, non-tobacco materials and tobacco
2) Optimal scheduling of the production thus ensuring any out-of-stock situation for the markets with a minimum of cost and cash flow relevant inventories
3) Coordination and implementation of specification changes, new introductions, market related promotions projects and sourcing changes
4) Close relationship and alignment with all relevant stakeholders as Customer Service, Supply Network Planning, Production and Finance
5) Implementation of IBP processes to secure a high level of production scheduling quality
6) Ensure that the financial figures and KPIs will be achieved in area of responsibility
7) Lead and coach the team of direct reports
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Work Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Production, Purchasing/Planning and Logistics area.
Language: Fluency in English (oral and written).
Skills: Proficient in MS Office, SAP, IBP and process design. Highly skilled analytical and strategical thinker with good communication skills. Team player with strong people-management skills
