Visit our website to learn more. Role Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled Test and Pack Technician to contribute to our growing success. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring our finished hose assemblies meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. Your work will directly support product quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery by helping ensure every order is tested, verified, and prepared for shipment with care and accuracy. As a Test and Pack Technician, you will work closely with assembly, warehouse, and quality teams to support a smooth and efficient flow of product through the business. You will be a key part of a collaborative team that values accountability, teamwork, and a shared commitment to delivering a high-quality product to our customers. What you’ll be doing • You will ensure finished hose assemblies meet Aflex and customer quality standards before release and shipment. • You will carry out required testing and inspection activities in line with approved procedures and product requirements. • You will verify that completed products, documentation, and packaging details align with customer specifications and order requirements. • You will support the final release process by accurately recording test results, inspection outcomes, and product status in the appropriate systems. • You will help maintain full traceability and compliance by ensuring all quality and shipment records are complete and accurate. • You will prepare finished products for shipment by confirming cleanliness, labeling, packaging, and presentation standards are met. • You will work closely with assembly, warehouse, and other internal teams to support smooth product flow and on-time delivery. • You will identify quality concerns, non-conformances, or rework needs and communicate them clearly to the appropriate team members. • You will contribute to a strong quality culture by helping prevent issues from reaching the customer and supporting right-first-time performance. • You will follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures while working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. • You will support continuous improvement efforts by sharing observations and helping improve testing, inspection, and packing processes. • You will contribute to a collaborative team environment by staying flexible, dependable, and focused on shared business goals. Other duties as assigned Who you’ll be working with In this role, you will work closely with internal teams across the business to help ensure products are tested, approved, and prepared for shipment accurately and on time. This role requires strong day-to-day collaboration to support product quality, smooth workflow, and on-time delivery. You will be working with: • Assembly Technicians • Warehouse Operatives • Quality team members • Production leadership • Site leadership, when issues need to be escalated External interaction will be limited, but your work will directly support customer requirements by ensuring finished products, packaging, and documentation meet expectations before shipment. This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role • You will bring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when checking finished products, documentation, and order requirements. • You will be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing, production, quality, warehouse, or similar operational environment where consistency and care are important. • You will have experience following written procedures, work instructions, or standard operating processes in a structured environment. • You will be confident identifying issues, raising concerns, and helping resolve problems before product is released to the customer. • You will have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues across production, warehouse, and quality functions. • You will be able to manage your time, stay organized, and maintain accuracy while working to deadlines. • You will be comfortable using systems or digital tools to record information, update job status, and maintain accurate records. • You will have a practical, quality-focused mindset with the ability to handle repetitive tasks without losing focus or consistency. • You will be comfortable working with hand tools, testing equipment, packaging materials, or similar shop-floor tools and processes. • You will be able to work safely in an active manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and handling materials as required by the role. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Nice to have • Experience working with quality checks, inspection, product testing, packaging, or final release processes. • Familiarity with ERP systems or production tracking systems such as AX. • Experience working with traceability records, certificates, or controlled documentation. • Exposure to regulated, customer-specification-driven, or high-quality manufacturing environments.
