NOTICE OF VACANCY—SERVICE PERSONNEL
Position Title:
- Substitute Summer School Aide/Bus Aide/ECCAT Aide
- Location: JMHS
- Extra-Duty Assignment for Service Personnel
Job Description:
- Assist teacher in instructional activities as directed
- Share in responsibility of protecting students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Perform limited, rotating supervisory duties not related to instruction
- Provide necessary assistance during transportation to and from school and for special school events
- Positive work habits
- Perform duties efficiently and productively.
- In addition, must be physically capable of lifting and supervising children as well.
- Must maintain confidentiality of students protected educational and health related information.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent; or successfully completing GED program
- Pass state and county aide test, and met qualifications for an aide
- Must have a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification along with food handler's certification.
- Preference will be given to applicants holding an Early Childhood Classroom Assistant Teacher certification.
- Must be an employee of Monroe County Schools
Salary:
- Daily Rate of Pay $128.70. Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Effective Date:
- June 29, 2026, through July 31, 2026
- There will be no summer school on July 3, 2026 in recognition of the holiday
