Newmont Boddington is inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, particularly those connected to the Gnaala Karla Booja / Noongar community, to apply for the Gnaala Work Ready Program.
This program provides a supported pathway into the mining industry, combining training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to transition into permanent employment.
About the Program
Started in 2011, the Gnaala Work Ready Program is designed to build skills, confidence, and real job experience to help participants succeed in the mining industry.
- Structured program combining training and on-the-job experience
- Exposure to different areas across the Boddington operation
- Mentorship and support from experienced Newmont employees
- Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and personal development
