As part of the Resource Center team, you’ll play a key role in connecting patients and families with trusted cancer information, support services, and educational resources. You’ll help create a welcoming environment where people feel informed, supported, and empowered.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, collaborating across teams, and improving the way information and support are delivered. This role has a pay range of $50,844 - $65,061 annually.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support both the day-to-day experience of patients and the long-term development of educational programs.
Help manage the daily operations of the Resource Center to ensure a positive, organized, and supportive environment
Train and guide Resource Center staff and volunteers
Connect patients and families with reliable cancer information and support resources
Update and maintain educational materials to ensure they are clear, accurate, and easy to access
Partner with the Concierge team to improve patient-facing resources
Support the development and delivery of institute-wide education and quality-of-life programs
Participate in patient outreach efforts and provide basic cancer education

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience1. Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Communications or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a health or education related field; or
2. Associate’s degree in a health-related field, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Communications or a related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a health or education related field.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
