We are looking for an analytically driven individual to join the Zeno Data & Intelligence team. This role is for an Analyst in a communications world – straddling the intersection between numbers and messages. Daily, you will utilize tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights and optimization suggestions. Working closely with PR, digital and integrated account teams, you will support the execution of data-driven recommendations generated through proprietary in-house learnings across multiple clients.
As an Analyst, you will manage reporting projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on budget and aligned to client objectives. You will work across a variety of earned, social, digital and web analytics platforms to collect, aggregate and analyze data, identify trends and provide actionable insights. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with large datasets and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both internal teams and clients.
This analytics team works in lockstep with the digital and account teams at Zeno Group and will interact with every facet of the organization and, at times, clients as well. If you have an affinity for a wide gamut of data and are eager to deepen your analytics expertise, this role will provide exposure to diverse datasets, reporting methodologies and emerging tools while helping shape future programming recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Manage reporting projects by collaborating with account teams and analytics leads to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports and dashboards.
Aggregate, clean and analyze data from multiple sources including earned media, social listening, website analytics and digital performance platforms.
Provide quality assurance across datasets and reporting deliverables, identifying and resolving inconsistencies independently.
Develop reporting decks and dashboards using existing templates while contributing recommendations for improved storytelling and visualization.
Identify key performance indicators and support the development of measurement frameworks aligned to client objectives.
Leverage data insights to identify trends, opportunities and optimization recommendations for campaigns and programs.
Present report findings and insights to internal stakeholders and support client-facing presentations.
Support junior staff and interns by delegating tasks, monitoring project progress and providing feedback as needed.
Build and refine Boolean search queries to support data collection and reporting initiatives.
Manage individual project timelines, communicate bandwidth needs proactively and support budget tracking aligned to account allocations.
About You:
2-3 years of recent experience in marketing, communications, digital or analytics role, preferably within an agency environment.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups and data analysis.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio or similar platforms preferred.
Demonstrates curiosity and openness to emerging AI technologies and applies AI-assisted tools to support workflow efficiencies, GEO analysis and data storytelling.
Strong understanding of data quality assurance and experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization, time management and communication skills.
Ability to manage timelines and multitask across a variety of projects.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
