Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor with strong CAD and/or BIM expertise to join our project delivery team in Riyadh. Working on behalf of a leading global construction consultancy, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and managing surveying activities, verifying construction works, producing accurate survey data and drawings, and supporting project teams through the integration of digital engineering and BIM processes.
The role requires a strong understanding of construction surveying, geospatial data management, CAD drafting, and BIM workflows across major infrastructure, civil engineering, landscape, and urban development projects.

Key Responsibilities
Surveying & Site Verification
- Perform topographical, boundary, as-built, control, and engineering surveys in accordance with project requirements.
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks across project sites.
- Verify contractor setting-out activities and ensure construction works are delivered in accordance with approved coordinates, levels, and design requirements.
- Conduct regular site measurements and inspections to validate construction progress and completed works.
- Prepare and review survey reports, calculations, field notes, and survey records.
- Monitor survey accuracy and ensure compliance with project tolerances and industry standards.
CAD & BIM Coordination
- Prepare, update, and maintain survey drawings, plans, profiles, and digital terrain models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
- Support the development and management of BIM models using survey and geospatial data.
- Coordinate survey information with engineering, architectural, infrastructure, and landscape design teams.
- Generate as-built models and drawings for project handover and asset management purposes.
- Assist with clash detection, model validation, and digital coordination activities where required.
- Ensure survey information is accurately incorporated into project BIM environments and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
Data Management & Digital Engineering
- Process and analyse survey data collected through total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, laser scanners, drones, and other survey technologies.
- Maintain project survey databases and ensure data integrity.
- Generate digital surface models, contour plans, volume calculations, and earthwork analyses.
- Support digital engineering initiatives and implementation of BIM standards across projects.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of survey deliverables prior to submission.
- Participate in quality audits and support the resolution of survey-related non-conformances.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure survey equipment is properly maintained.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with contractors, site supervision teams, engineers, BIM specialists, and project stakeholders.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input relating to surveying and digital modelling activities.
- Support project teams with survey-related technical advice and problem-solving.
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related discipline.
Relevant BIM certifications are advantageous and professional surveying experience on major construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, or urban development projects is mandatory.
