PROTÉGÉ Graduate Trainee, Tax Finance (Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur)

Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in analysing, preparing, and reviewing corporate income tax computations, tax estimates, and instalment schedules under supervision.
• Support efforts to ensure tax efficiency while maintaining compliance with prevailing tax regulations.
• Assist in reviewing tax compliance matters and support responses for desk audits, tax audits, and investigations conducted by Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia and Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
• Ensure documentation and submissions are accurate and completed within timelines.
• Take ownership of continuous learning by building tax knowledge and technical competencies.
• Actively seek guidance, feedback, and training opportunities to improve performance and contribute effectively to the tax function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Exposure to taxation through internships, industrial training, or academic projects will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, including corporate income tax and indirect taxes such as SST and withholding tax.
