Auria is looking to hire two Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Engineers to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. These positions support System Specification development, ICD data population, and integration and test planning during early program phases.

Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government and Auria facilities may be required.
 
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Support System Specification development, contributing system-level requirements, derived requirements, and design-to specifications under direction of the Chief Engineer and SEIT Senior Lead.
  • Populate ICD content for assigned system interfaces, ensuring interface definitions are complete and consistent with the program architecture and network design.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation including block diagrams, signal flow diagrams, and configuration baselines.
  • Support requirements decomposition and traceability activities, maintaining assigned sections of the requirements traceability matrix.
  • Assist in developing Integration and Test (I&T) plans and procedures for early program integration events.
  • Contribute to verification matrices and test reports; support formal systems engineering reviews (SDR, CDR, TRR) as assigned.
  • Perform functional, interface, and performance testing as required during integration activities.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and test on classified DoW programs.
  • Experience developing systems engineering documentation — system specifications, ICDs, block diagrams, and configuration baselines — on DoW programs.
  • Familiarity with requirements traceability and verification methodologies.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation, drawings, and test reports independently.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: 
  • Current U.S. Government Top SECRET clearance.
  • Experience supporting DoW, U.S. Space Force, or Space Systems Command ground system programs.
  • Familiarity with SATCOM, satellite ground systems, or mission operations system architecture.
  • Experience with MBSE tools or requirements management platforms (DOORS, Cameo, or Jira-based requirements tracking).
  • Experience supporting formal DoW program design reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR) as a systems engineer contributor.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $100,558–$135,000

Pay Range: $100,558 - $135,000 per year
