Job Description
About the Role
AiiA-Crisis24 is hiring a Senior Intelligence Analyst to help define how artificial intelligence is applied to professional intelligence analysis at scale. This is a hands-on, tradecraft-forward role for an experienced analyst who can pair Intelligence Community (IC) standards with modern AI tooling to produce IC-grade analytic products across the AiiA portfolio.
The successful candidate is equally comfortable drafting a finished intelligence assessment, designing a prompt that elicits rigorous reasoning from a large language model, and briefing senior leaders on the value, limits, and assurance posture of AI-augmented intelligence production.
What You Will Do
Lead AI-augmented analytic production. Use LLMs and the AiiA toolset to produce IC-grade intelligence across multiple lines of effort — strategic assessments, warning products, current intelligence, threat advisories, and tailored client-facing analysis.
Apply IC analytic standards end-to-end. Ensure all products conform to ODNI ICD 203 (Analytic Standards) and ICD 206 (Sourcing Requirements), including analytic integrity, source characterization, confidence levels, and proper expression of uncertainty.
Support intelligence collection. Translate analytic gaps into targeted collection requirements, refine taskings, and partner with collectors and OSINT teams to drive higher-value reporting into the analytic workflow.
Own analytic review and QA/QC. Serve as a reviewer for peer products, leading structured review against ICD 203/206 criteria, checking sourcing chains, validating analytic lines, and certifying AI-assisted outputs before release.
Engineer prompts and analytic workflows. Design, test, and version-control prompts and multi-step LLM workflows that produce defensible analysis; evaluate model performance against tradecraft standards and iterate on systemic weaknesses.
Engage senior leaders. Brief executives, government clients, and partners on AiiA capabilities, analytic findings, and the operational value of AI-enabled intelligence production; translate methodological choices into decision-grade language.
Advance the tradecraft. Contribute to internal standards, evaluation frameworks, and training that raise the analytic floor for the broader AiiA team.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of professional intelligence experience in a government, military, or commercial intelligence organization.
Demonstrated mastery of ODNI ICD 203 (Analytic Standards) and ICD 206 (Sourcing Requirements), including practical application in production environments.
Direct, hands-on experience with prompt engineering for large language models in support of analysis, research, or knowledge-work automation.
Proven record producing finished intelligence across multiple product types (e.g., strategic assessments, warning, current intelligence, threat reporting).
Experience leading analytic review, QA/QC, or peer review against formal tradecraft standards.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief senior decision-makers under time pressure.
Sound judgment regarding the appropriate use, limits, and assurance requirements of AI in intelligence work.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior service in the U.S. Intelligence Community, allied IC partner, or equivalent national-security organization.
Experience integrating LLMs or other AI tooling into production analytic workflows (not only experimentation).
Familiarity with structured analytic techniques (SATs), red-teaming, and analysis of competing hypotheses.
Exposure to OSINT tradecraft, geopolitical risk analysis, or duty-of-care / travel-risk intelligence.
Active or recently active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
Advanced degree in international affairs, intelligence studies, security studies, data science, or a related field.
