
Account Manager- Federal Navy Sales
Job Description
Overview As an Account Manager supporting our Navy West business, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding market share for Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions and Services across Navy and Marine Corps customers within your assigned geographic territory. This role requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and delivering mission-focused technology solutions that support operational readiness and modernization initiatives across the Department of the Navy. Responsibilities Customer Engagement and Territory Management Interface directly with end-users and customers to create and drive adoption of Panasonic Connect Mobility products and services. Travel for in-person client meetings, building relationships with key decision-makers, program managers, contracting officers, and end users across Navy and Marine Corps customers, as well as at industry events, trade shows, customer conferences, and internal meetings. Capture all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM, ensuring effective territory and account management. Sales Performance and Pipeline Management Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual territory quotas for products and services, while achieving strategic goals and targets as assigned by sales management. Actively manage your sales pipeline in CRM, ensuring consistent opportunity progression and accurate forecasting. Partner and Stakeholder Collaboration Work with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities to produce year-over-year growth against assigned targets. When applicable, work with Navy and Marine Corps standards and procurement agencies to ensure Panasonic Connect Mobility Solutions are included and product information is current. Qualifications Education and Experience 2–5 years of experience selling technology products and services, preferably to Navy and Marine Corps customers. Proven success managing reseller and end-user relationships. College degree preferred, or equivalent relevant job-related experience. Understanding of pipeline management discipline and the ability to articulate its benefits to partner management and sales teams. Proven track record of navigating all levels of end-user accounts and reseller partner organizations, driving tangible revenue with a focus on year-over-year sales growth. Experience working with executive and C-level customer contacts. Must be geographically located in the San Diego area. Travel required up to 75%.
