What you can expect
In this role, you will take ownership of ensuring that all test infrastructure required for project execution is available, efficient, and aligned with quality, time, and cost expectations. Your key responsibilities include:
Core responsibilities
- Clarify and define requirements for test infrastructure in collaboration with test execution teams
- Provide test infrastructure that meets project time, cost, and quality targets
- Assure the quality of all test infrastructure deliveries
- Allocate and manage budgets for the GAT Infrastructure team
- Drive efficiency and standardization of infrastructure solutions
- Identify and implement cost‑reduction opportunities (e.g., equipment reuse, task synergies, cross‑project optimizations)
General tasks
- Advise project and quote teams on necessary test infrastructure in alignment with test strategy
- Manage test infrastructure provisioning and handle change requests within projects
- Coordinate and track infrastructure delivery progress
- Lead effort estimation and participate in budget planning for quarterly and annual forecasts
- Align test infrastructure staffing needs with line managers
Collaboration & Reporting
- Act as the main interface for all test‑infrastructure‑related topics towards System Test Managers, Data Collection Managers, and Function Performance Test Managers
- Report status and deviations related to GAT Infrastructure deliverables
- Highlight risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Report deviations from approved roadmaps or niche solutions that introduce extra cost
- Report solid‑line to a local manager of the GAT infrastructure organization
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical project management skills, including work package definition, time planning, budget management, risk and escalation management, and deriving actions for the team
- Solid understanding of test infrastructure, test equipment, and ADAS products
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a service‑oriented, approachable, and communicative mindset
- Excellent communication capabilities, including experience in presenting to management and facilitating effective meetings
- Strong analytical skills for identifying risks, deviations, and optimization potential
