IPR Governance & Data Analytics Project Intern (TikTok Shop) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026.

Responsibilities

• Analyse IPR enforcement and risk data to identify infringement trends, anomalies, and risk signals.
• Use Python and SQL to extract, process, and analyse large datasets to support investigations and reporting.
• Support IPR infringement investigations by analysing case data and identifying root causes.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor enforcement effectiveness and platform risk.
• Work with cross-functional teams (policy, operations, product) to improve detection strategies and processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation or AI/ML solutions to enhance IPR risk detection and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative fields.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Exposure to e-commerce risk, trust & safety, fraud detection, or governance is a plus.
• Interest or basic understanding of Intellectual Property (IP).
• Experience with AI/ML, automation tools, or LLMs is a plus.
