Job Overview
The Production Development Specialist at the Matamoros site is responsible for performing time studies, cost estimation, and SAP routing updates of manufacturing operation.
This position reports to the Industrial Engineering Leader, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas site.
Responsibilities
- Preform time studies using a stopwatch to review actual process time for SMT, progressive assembly, units, frames, and cables shop assemblies.
- Balance assembly operations based on a required production rate or number of people.
- Calculate estimated costs for processing time and tool for new assemblies.
- Improving shop capacity management by auditing and updating SAP routings.
- Design and redesign layouts for Matamoros’ site.
- Implementation of CN’s (engineering changes) in Matamoros’ site.
- Participation in projects, contribution time, layouts, balance of operations.
- Implementation plan of the Ergonomic in Matamoros.
- Participate in VPC (Cost Reduction Projects).
- Participate in EHS activities.
- Participate in RH activities.
- Experience in implementation of 5s to production area.

Basic Qualifications
- Engineering bachelor's degree (Industrial).
- 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- English level: Basic/Intermediate
