What You’ll do
This role serves as a strategic governance and optimization partner for invoicing operations, ensuring SOX compliance, process excellence, and operational risk mitigation across the finance function. The position acts as a central hub for process improvements, finance transformation initiatives, and technical issue resolution while maintaining robust control frameworks and supporting system migrations.
Monitor and enforce monthly control governance with timely SOX compliance reporting
Document, test, and formally approve all invoicing process changes to SOX standards
Confidently represent department during SOX reviews with internal & external audit teams
Support leadership with regular self-certification testing and maintain current process documentation
Collaborate with Finance Management and Global Directors to report on exceptions and implement remediation strategies
Recommend and support process enhancements in partnership with Finance Leadership
To provide a primary role in process review and documentation resulting as a part of finance transformation projects and Collaborate with Invoicing Operations and the wider business to identify, develop, and implement process efficiencies
Provide operational expertise in process identification, testing, and process risk assessment related to system migrations
Identify and assess open risks within invoicing operations
Support implementation of compensating controls to mitigate identified risks
Coordinate bi-monthly JIRA prioritization reviews with eCommerce Product and Engineering & Finance Systems teams and thrives in dynamic environments, adapting quickly while maintaining strategic focus
Data-Driven Decision Making - Translates complex financial data into actionable insights
Problem Solving: Proactively identifies challenges and develops innovative solutions
Demonstrates commitment to achieving exceptional results
Influences and drives change without direct authority
What We're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or MBA equivalent with minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience
Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Visio flowcharts & Excel pivot tables
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools
Proven experience managing SOX testing and compliance frameworks
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and departmental impact
Experience controlling user acceptance testing (UAT) for finance system migrations
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Proven experience in project management and excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, matrix organization and consultative approach to problem-solving
Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environment
