Core Responsibilities
Channel Excellence Management exists at the LEGO Group to unlock incremental sales growth in priority channels by ensuring that global channel strategy translates into simple, actionable plans and strong execution across markets.
This role reports to the SVP Head of Global Commercial Development, with 14 direct reports, and is responsible for...
Enabling the Market Group and Business Unit colleagues in advancing the LEGO Group Channel Strategy by translating strategy into clear actions that drive execution in-market. (e.g. translating channel priorities into specific retail execution standards, marketplace activation approaches, and in-store programs that deliver measurable uplift)
Driving sales growth through focused omni-channel expansion and strong retail execution, prioritising initiatives that deliver measurable impact (e.g. space growth, sell-out, return on investment)
Leading high-impact, cross-market initiatives with clear commercial outcomes, ensuring strong prioritisation and avoiding duplication of market or functional capabilities and efforts
Driving cross-border and marketplace governance, addressing structural challenges that cannot be solved locally and ensuring consistent global guardrails
Leading the Global Commercial Integration forum and agenda, ensuring focus on high-impact opportunities
Championing a culture of simplification, prioritisation, and commercial rigor, focusing on value creation rather than activity

In this role, you will help build the future of our business by ensuring our global channel approach is focused on what truly drives growth, translating strategy into real impact where it matters most — in the market and at retail.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven experience and a consistent track record of delivery and leadership in a commercial role within Sales, Retail, or Omni-channel environments
Extensive and current perspective of sales excellence and customer success, with deep understanding of retail, eComm, and marketplace dynamics
Strong ability to translate strategy into simple, executable actions that produce quantifiable outcomes in-market
Strong team leadership experience within matrix organisations, with experience enabling and influencing
Excellent partner management with the ability to operate at C-suite level, influencing across functions and leading focused, high-impact initiatives
Strategically strong with a pragmatic, determined approach, able to prioritise ruthlessly and simplify complexity
Demonstrated ability to drive commercial impact and transformation, with a clear focus on value creation and return on investment
Strong analytical skills & business acumen, capable of using data to guide decisions and prioritisation
Is a role model for diversity & inclusion, with openness to challenge status quo and bring new perspectives
Mobility & willingness to travel (up to 20 days per year)

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $237,477.00 - $356,215.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
