Cooperworks Cabinet Maker

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our production team. In this role, you will build high-quality laminate cabinetry used in commercial environments. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works accurately from drawings, and understands the importance of producing durable, professional-grade cabinetry.
 
Essential Functions
  • Fabricate and assemble custom laminate cabinets, casework, countertops, and related millwork components.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, machine, edge-band, laminate, and assemble materials to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including saws, routers, drills, and sanders.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, fit, and finish
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Carpentry, cabinet making, millwork, woodworking, or casework fabrication experience required
  • Familiarity with production shop workflows and quality standards.
  • Experience working with laminate and sheet goods such as particleboard, MDF, or plywood strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical production work.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with production shop workflows and quality standards.

Starting Salary: $20 - $22/hour or higher depending on experience.
