Payroll Administrator Job Responsibilities

  • Process and administer payroll for multiple locations and departments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Maintain payroll records, employee data, and timekeeping systems
  • Review and validate timecards and payroll reports for accuracy
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist with payroll audits and year‑end processing (including W‑2s)
  • Collaborate with HR, accounting, and department managers as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee data

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation Disclosure:

The Corporate Payroll Administrator position is paid on a pay scale that includes a Base Hourly Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Actual compensation within this range will be determined by job‑related factors such as experience, skill level, and qualifications.

Payroll Administrator Qualifications

  • Previous payroll administration experience preferred, ideally in a multi‑location environment
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office (Excel strongly preferred)
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in dealership or automotive environment is a plus

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
