  OVERVIEW The Installer is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional service delivery to our customers. While performing the duties of this role, the Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices. This position receives direction and close supervision from the Foreman and/or Project Managers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION Safely deliver, uncrate, assemble, and install commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites while ensuring full functionality in accordance with product specifications. Equipment includes but is not limited to walk-in coolers, freezers, hoods, ice-machines, and ovens.  Load and unload equipment and tools properly for equipment delivery and installation.  Hang and secure shelving, racking, and other wall or ceiling products.  Ensure all work documentation is fully and accurately completed (i.e. job progress and hours worked).  Attend required safety training.  *The duties and responsibilities described are not necessarily an exhaustive list. Additional duties may be assigned to the employee as necessitated by business demands MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational school diploma/certificate in a mechanical-related field is preferred but not required. Experience using basic hand and power tools. Must possess strong problem solving, communication, basic math, attention- to detail, and customer service skills; Must be a team-player with a positive attitude and have a strong-work ethic. Must have a valid-driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record checks; Must be able to obtain certification to drive fork lifts; Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to work overtime as required. This position requires heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more. It involves frequent speaking, hearing, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, climbing, and crouching. Requires close and peripheral vision and depth perception. May be exposed to vibrations, loud noise, and hazardous materials. Work may be performed in extreme hot and cold temperatures in both indoor and outdoor environments. The work schedule requires Installers to work varying hours - including early morning.  This position requires daily paid travel while driving company vehicles.
