Part-Time Elementary/Junior High Teacher
Woodson Independent School District is accepting applications for a Part-Time Elementary/Junior High Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Woodson ISD is seeking a dependable, student-centered educator who is willing to serve students in a small-school setting. The ideal candidate will be flexible, positive, organized, and able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

Part-Time Elementary/Junior High Teacher
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred
- Certification appropriate for assigned grade level and subject area
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to work with elementary and/or junior high students
- Willingness to support student growth academically, socially, and emotionally
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Commitment to the values and expectations of Woodson ISD
Responsibilities
The Part-Time Elementary/Junior High Teacher will:
- Provide instruction to assigned students in the elementary and/or junior high setting
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with district curriculum and state standards
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support as needed
- Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, staff, and administration
- Support campus procedures, student expectations, and district goals
- Maintain accurate records, grades, and required documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration
Schedule
This is a part-time position. The schedule and teaching assignment will be determined based on student needs, certification, and district requirements.
