The Finance Manager is a strategic finance partner to Marketing and Commercial teams, responsible for driving profitable growth through end-to-end P&L ownership, financial planning, and data-driven decision-making.
This role delivers actionable insights through financial analysis of costs, pricing, margins, and sales performance, while deploying dashboards and scorecards to track results. It partners cross-functionally to solve business challenges, analyzes performance versus plan, and ensures strong financial governance, efficient operations, and optimized cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Strategy
Act as a strategic partner to Marketing and Commercial leadership, influencing brand and portfolio strategy.
Drive financial planning processes (Budget, Forecast, Long Range Plan) aligned with business objectives.
Provide forward-looking insights, scenario modeling, and decision support for investments and growth initiatives.
Challenge business decisions through data-driven analysis and risk assessment.
Financial Performance & Planning
Own end-to-end P&L performance across brands and channels.
Lead financial analyses (pricing, margins, costs, sales performance) and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to monitor performance and business health.
Oversee monthly closing, reporting, and variance analysis, ensuring clear action plans.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
Ensure strong governance over A&P investments, trade spend, and commercial agreements to maximize ROI.
Develop and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with local/international accounting standards and corporate policies.
Partner with auditors, consultants, and financial institutions as needed.
Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
Lead working capital optimization initiatives (inventory, receivables, payables).
Monitor and improve DSO, DIO, DPO, and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).
Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain to enhance cash flow and service levels.
Identify risks and opportunities impacting liquidity and drive proactive mitigation actions.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
Drive adoption of financial technologies, automation, and advanced analytics tools.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization and margin expansion.
Manage multiple financial projects and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
Leadership
Lead, develop, and inspire finance teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders across the organization.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue growth (brands and portfolio)
Gross margin and operating margin expansion
ROI on A&P and commercial investments
Forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness
Budget adherence and cost efficiency
Working capital improvement (DSO, DIO, DPO, CCC)
Cash flow generation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field
5–10 years of experience in Finance (FP&A, Commercial Finance, Controlling)
Proven experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
Experience leading teams and developing talent
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
Advanced Excel and ERP experience (SAP preferred)
Fluent Spanish and advanced English
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in FMCG / consumer goods industry
Strong strategic mindset with ability to connect financial, commercial, and cash drivers
Knowledge of tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce
Strong influencing, communication, and storytelling skills
Ability to operate in fast-paced, matrixed environments
High resilience, agility, and problem-solving capability
Experience in working capital and cash flow optimization
Continuous improvement mindset and high attention to detail
