Join the LEGO Group as a leader in our Additive Engineering Element Maturing team, where innovation meets creativity. This pivotal role involves guiding the team responsible for maturing and delivering Additive Manufacturing (AM) LEGO elements, ensuring quality and excellence in every aspect!

The maternity cover will run from 1st August 2026 to 30th April 2027.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the Additive Engineering Element Maturing team. Maturing and deliver AM LEGO Elements to the organization, securing quality in delivery.
  • Ensure high motivation and satisfaction for our employees, focus on their development and create a winning team spirit.
  • Work with the Product Team to discover, refine and implement the practices that will enable them to deliver within each sprint. Ensure correct prioritization for delivery.
  • Help the team with removing impediments and actively work throughout the organization to mature processes for delivery.
  • Aid in executing the AM strategy and set direction on tactical activities to ensure we deliver on our plans.
  • Support change management in both PMD and OPS.
  • Develop, standardize, and maintain delivery processes to our production and ensure high quality to agreed capacity.
  • Develop and lead value capturing and monitoring throughout the value chain, and create visualization of benefits and status quo.

Additive Engineering is responsible for the development, engineering, and delivery of Additive Manufacturing (AM) elements and equipment at the LEGO Group. The department focuses on applying polymer and metal AM technologies to production needs by developing robust engineering solutions and establishing standardized processes for reliable manufacturing. In close collaboration with AM technology development team, Additive Engineering supports the maturing and scaling of AM technologies toward large-scale industrial use.

You will join our Additive Engineering LT as a leader of our Element Maturing team, responsible for delivery of production setups for additively manufactured LEGO elements. Your responsibility includes acting as the Product Manager for our element delivery value chain, execution on an operational and tactical level to ensure success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the LEGO Group spanning from design and engineering to production implementation to ensure end-to-end integration of AM in the LEGO Groups value chain.

Do you have what it takes

The ideal comes with proven experience in excellent team and people leadership, as well as in establishing a smooth and professional development and delivery processes while collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Moreover, they have:

  • Educational background in engineering (e.g. mechanical, industrial, material, etc.) or equivalent working experience
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to create an impact in a diverse context across many different functional areas and profiles
  • A proactive and can-do approach to leadership and structured working style
  • Strong will to deliver results to demand and an ability to lead the team to excellent performance.
  • Experience in the Additive Manufacturing industry and a good understanding of its potential and challenges would be beneficial
