Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated communications plans that deliver a steady drumbeat of proactive storytelling and strategic activations to build and strengthen the LEGO Group’s corporate reputation in China.

  • Craft compelling, locally resonant narratives and messaging around key corporate and brand reputation drivers, including business strategy, innovation, sustainability, social responsibility, etc.

  • Lead the development and orchestration of corporate content across owned, earned, and shared channels to ensure a cohesive LEGO story and maximize reach and impact.

  • Drive ongoing activation of media strategy in response to China’s fast-changing media landscape, while building and sustaining strong relationships with key media through consistent and purposeful engagement.

  • Elevate LEGO China’s owned corporate channels and strengthen its presence across social and digital platforms to enhance visibility and ensure communications are accurate, authentic, and authoritative.

  • Provide strong issue and crisis management support to safeguard and protect the LEGO Group’s corporate reputation in China.

As Communications Manager, China, you will play a pivotal role in building and protecting the LEGO Group’s brand and corporate reputation in one of its most dynamic markets. Combining strong global communications expertise with deep local market and media insight, you will shape and amplify a compelling, consistent LEGO story for key audiences to support the company’s long-term development in China.

Do you have what it takes?

  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate communications with leading multinational corporations or agencies.

  • Exceptional storytelling and content development skills, with a strong track record of shaping narratives and messaging for major corporate brands.

  • Solid expertise in media strategy, with strong knowledge of mainstream and business media, as well as a deep understanding of China’s evolving media landscape.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across teams globally and locally.

  • A collaborative team player who embodies a One Team mindset and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
