About the team:
The Fleet Services Automation Engineering team drives sustainable transportation and operational excellence across Walmart’s fleet operations. This team leads initiatives to optimize workflows, implement best practices, and support continuous improvement efforts. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team leverages data analysis and automation technologies to enhance efficiency and standardization. Members contribute to transforming fleet processes while managing multiple projects and ensuring alignment with enterprise goals. What you'll do:
- Lead and support automation engineering projects to enhance fleet services operational efficiency.
- Analyze data and develop insights to influence strategic decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and troubleshoot automation systems and control processes.
- Manage project plans, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Drive process flow design and assess automation potential to optimize supply chain logistics.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear status updates and recommendations.
What you'll bring:
- Meeting the minimum education and experience requirements; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2-4 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, automated manufacturing, or related field
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence effectively – confidence, credibility, and concise, organized thoughts
- The ability to partner and collaborate while establishing credibility, analyzing stakeholder needs, and responding effectively and efficiently
- Demonstratable business acumen and ownership of project activity
- Leading in design and development of progressing alternate fuel vehicle technologies
- Establishing, influencing, and managing high-visibility key supplier relationships

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
