Corporate Tax - Senior Consultant/Manager

The impact you’ll make:
As a Senior Consultant/Manager you will have the opportunity to do interesting work for interesting clients and grow your career in tax. Your typical day will include:
- Helping clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines and realise business goals.
- Getting to know clients and their businesses.
- Advising on a wide range of corporate tax matters.
- Analysis of current and pending tax legislation to client transactions.
- Preparing / reviewing corporate tax returns.
- Assisting clients in the resolution of tax disputes.
- Interpreting, analysing and researching technical tax issues (using our AI platform to help!).
- Inputting into corporate and international tax policy issues.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team.
- Improving work efficiency, effectiveness and client service by using technology tools.
- Having fun with the team!
Your expertise:

You will have:
- 3+ years’ New Zealand corporate tax and compliance experience
- Preferably current or recent experience in a Big 4/ mid tier environment
- Technical tax knowledge
- Proven ability to building strong relationships with clients & colleagues
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- An energetic and proactive attitude
- Ability to learn and adapt
- Serve as a role model for integrity, respect and appreciation of others, including their unique strengths and differences
- A keenness to learn and grow your career
