KPMG’s Deal Advisory department is one of the world’s leading financial advisors on public and private transactions. Deal Advisory encompasses the Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Services and Valuations business units

Description of the role and purpose of the job:

The Deal Advisory graduate programme is a three-year fixed term contract whereby you will be given the opportunity to rotate between the Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Services and Valuations Advisory teams

As a graduate you will:

•       Be encouraged to complete your CIMA/CFA Levels

•       Be involved in exciting transactions within various industries

•       Work closely with local and global experts

•       The opportunity to explore all areas within Deal Advisory

•       Work in a learning environment

Skills and attributes required for the role:

•       Keen interest in Deal Advisory backed by the relevant tertiary education/qualification

•       A high performing team player who can work independently and contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment

•       Ability to be agile and adapt to changing environments, spot problems, and trace to root cause to recommend solutions

•       Financial Management (Hons)

•       Financial Sciences (Hons)

•       Bachelors of Business Science (Finance) (Honours included in 4-year degree)

•       Certificate in Management Accounting (CIMA)

•       Certificate as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

•       Investment Management (Hons)

*   Requirement to have completed financial or business accounting until minimum third year.
