Rate Coordinator
Full-Time, Temporary (3-month contract)
Somerville or Fredericton, NB (Hybrid)
The Rate Coordinator will be an expert in interpreting Customer Tariff Agreements, as well as understanding all Company policies as they relate to the application of invoice charges. This will ensure invoice charges are applied accurately and consistently, supporting business revenue capture.
How You'll Help:
- Interpret customer tariff agreements and apply charges to their invoice (s) accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure work volumes are getting processed timely to meet our Service Level Agreement with the Business.
- Communicate with all areas of the business including, but not limited to: Pricing for lane additions and/or validation of charges, Operations for consolidation and drop fee confirmation.
- Validate the accuracy of system generated rates based on customer tariff agreements.
- Ensure additional services are invoiced accurately according to established tariffs and company policies.
- Validate key invoice data elements for accuracy.
- Maintain better than average attention to detail.
- Ability to make accurate decisions that impact Company revenue.
- Interpret Company Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
- Run daily reports as a check and balance for revenue capture.
- Foster a positive relationship with peers and all levels of the organization.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Post-secondary education in business administration or related field, an asset.
- A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one year experience in an office environment.an asset
- Previous Transportation experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills – MS Products. Must possess the ability to learn new software.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly numerical.
- Mathematical skills.
- Detail orientated with the ability to work accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment.
