The role will support PD Partnership Sales to penetrate SCB various segments range from Private bank to retails and SME, while will also act as BDM role to collaborate with SCB sales management to plan and drive the APE sales and other sales/quality KPIs of the overall Bancassurance Sales to achieve key financial target of the assigned segments/regions.The role will establish excellent and influential relationship with Bank’s stakeholders (RH, ISTM, BM, RM, IS, WPM) to ensure the partnership’s mission can be executed with excellent sales quality and delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the assigned segment and develop the core competence and skillset required to deliver the results. Collaborate and work closely with SCB and sales management, to plan and develop the sales strategy for SCB Bancassurce sales to achieve or exceed annual sales target whilst conforming to company and regulatory standards.
Conduct customized field coaching/workshops to both BDM and SCB sales staff on areas including but not limited to selling techniques, underwriting sharing, objection handling, product features and prospecting etc, to support business in achieving insurance sales objectives
Participate in comprehensive pre-sales case study and discussion with SCB sales to plan for an effective deal closure, in the HNW space, H&P spectrum and complicated underwriting cases
Support case management team on underwriting to drive for sales momentum by effective case issuance
Analysis of sales performance and productivity of respective segments/regions to provide strategic recommendation in business and initiatives planning
Establish good, influencing and trustworthy relationship with SCB sales management, sales staff and internal stakeholders
Enhance the overall collaboration between the BDM and ISTM team as well as fulfilling and implementing their roles and responsibilities
Job Requirements
University degree in Finance/Marketing preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance or banking industry with at least 5 years at supervisory level
Experience in Bancassurance or Partnership Sales is preferred
Experience in insurance selling and training/coaching
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
Team player, passionate, matured, and independent in stake holder management
Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Self -motivated and strong drive for results
Ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking, and time coordination to cater for ad hoc request
Fluent in written and spoken of Cantonese/English, plus mandarin is welcome
Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point
Well and professional in presentation skills
