We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support our ANZ operations, ensuring accurate inventory control and seamless coordination with logistics partners across New Zealand.

About the role:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and monitoring all supply chain activities between Diversey New Zealand and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). This includes overseeing inbound and outbound inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics operations, and supporting export processes and warehouse activities.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining system accuracy, resolving discrepancies, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across logistics operations. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams, 3PL partners, and regional stakeholders to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating all inbound and outbound logistics activities with 3PL partners across New Zealand
  • Monitoring and ensuring accurate inventory control, including batch, expiry (FEFO), and stock reconciliation in SAP
  • Investigating and resolving stock variances between SAP and 3PL systems
  • Managing logistics-related invoices, cost tracking, and reporting
  • Supporting export order processing (air, sea, and road), including preparation of shipping documentation
  • Coordinating product relabeling and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Creating SAP stock transfer orders (STOs) to replenish inventory across locations
  • Collaborating with planning and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages
  • Supporting warehouse operations, including spare parts inventory and equipment handling
  • Ensuring SOPs and process documentation are maintained and followed
  • Assisting with issue resolution related to deliveries, inventory, or logistics operations
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cost
  • Supporting cross-functional supply chain activities and providing back-up support when required

About you

  • Proven experience in logistics, freight management, inventory control, and import/export operations
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and warehouse systems
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Forklift license (desirable)
  • Experience in the chemical or hygiene industry is advantageous
