Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:

• Support Body Shop assembly process activities with strong product and process knowledge.
• Work on BIW validation activities, body assembly process, and assembly sequence planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of Body Shop deliverables.
• Support PLM, Teamcenter, and NX-based engineering documentation and process activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Body Shop and BIW assembly areas.
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in the engineering service industry.
• Strong knowledge of Body Shop processes and Body Shop assembly operations.
• Good understanding of BIW validation, body assembly process, and assembly sequence.
• Hands-on experience in PLM, Teamcenter, and NX.
• Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to guide team members.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

Preferred Qualifications / Good to Have:

• Experience in fixture design will be an added advantage.
• Programming knowledge in Python or C# will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to global automotive projects and Body Shop manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz / Daimler systems, standards, and engineering processes will be preferred.
