Job Description
About the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical), Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Technical Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and cloud technologies, with experience supporting technical sales cycles, including demos, solution design, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Familiarity with production data, well performance, decline curve analysis, or asset optimization concepts
- Experience with field data capture, SCADA systems, production monitoring, or field operations environments is required
- Excellent collaboration, presentation, and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to engage engineers, operators, and executive stakeholders effectively
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic, customer-facing SaaS setting
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events
- Proficiency with Petrosight, Merrick, or ProdView (or similar software)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g.Hubspot), data visualization platforms, and API integrations.
- Experience with ERP or field operations software in the energy sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Partner with Account Executives to understand client needs and deliver customized product demonstrations.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for energy sector clients.
- Develop and present solution architectures that align with customer workflows and operational goals.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process, including RFP responses and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Collaborate with Product Management to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- Maintain deep knowledge of PakEnergy’s platform, integrations, and industry trends.
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This position works in an office atmosphere, travels to meet clients, and may work on worksite.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
