Regional Maintenance Operations Manager - South Korea

As we continue to expand our footprint in Asia, we are seeking a Regional Manager to lead and elevate our service network operations across South Korea. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of aviation compliance, technical operations, and strategic growth.

As Regional Manager, you will take full ownership of CSafe’s service network operations in South Korea. You will serve as the FAA Accountable Manager for the country, ensuring regulatory excellence while driving operational performance, service quality, and team development across multiple locations.

You will lead a growing organization, influence regional strategy, and play a key role in maintaining the airworthiness and availability of CSafe’s industry-leading containers.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Leadership
  • Serve as the FAA Accountable Manager for South Korea, ensuring full compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and applicable local aviation authorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, including FAA representatives.
• Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all maintenance operations across CSafe-owned and third-party repair stations.
  • Ensure timely return-to-service of containers while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Lead multi-site operations, including current and future service center locations.
• Team & Talent Leadership
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, including hiring, development, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Directly manage and mentor the Repair Service Manager (FAA) and service center leadership.
• Strategic & Commercial Impact
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to enhance service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with global stakeholders to align regional performance with company objectives.
• Supplier & Quality Management
  • Conduct Supplier Readiness Assessments (SRA) and evaluate supplier capabilities against demand.
  • Define and monitor supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions.
  • Drive process improvements across maintenance, compliance, and service delivery.

What You Bring

• Deep expertise in FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145) and aviation compliance frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-site operations and third-party service providers.
• Strong track record in maintenance operations within aviation or regulated industries.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and organizational levels.
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• 5+ years in maintenance or manufacturing operations (aviation preferred).
• 3+ years managing third-party partners or suppliers.
• Prior experience as an FAA Accountable Manager strongly preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries (FAA or equivalent) is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; Korean proficiency preferred.

주요 업무 (Key Responsibilities)

규정 및 컴플라이언스 관리

• 대한민국 지역의 FAA Accountable Manager로서 14 CFR Part 145 및 관련 국내 항공 규정을 준수하도록 관리
• FAA 및 관련 규제 기관과의 주요 커뮤니케이션 창구 역할 수행

운영 관리

• CSafe 직영 및 외부 협력 정비소(Repair Station)의 유지보수 운영 총괄
• 컨테이너의 신속한 정비 및 서비스 복귀(Return-to-Service) 보장
• 현재 및 향후 서비스 센터를 포함한 다수 거점 운영 관리

조직 및 인재 관리

• 서비스 센터 인력 채용, 성과 관리, 교육 및 승계 계획 수립
• Repair Service Manager(FAA) 및 각 센터 리더에 대한 직접적인 리더십 및 코칭 제공

전략 및 성과 관리

• 서비스 수준 향상 및 운영 효율성 강화를 위한 중장기 전략 수립 및 실행
• 글로벌 조직 및 주요 이해관계자와 협업하여 목표 달성

협력업체 및 품질 관리

• Supplier Readiness Assessment(SRA)를 통해 협력업체의 역량 평가
• 성과 지표 및 평가 기준 수립 및 관리
• 품질 부서와 협력하여 항공 적합성 관련 기준 유지

지속적 개선

• 운영 프로세스 개선 기회 발굴 및 실행
• 정비, 품질, 서비스 전반의 지속적인 개선 추진

자격 요건 (What You Bring)

• FAA 규정(14 CFR Part 145) 및 항공 규정에 대한 깊은 이해
• 다수 거점(Multi-site) 운영 및 외주 협력업체 관리 경험
• 항공 또는 규제 산업 내 유지보수 운영 경험
• 전략적 사고와 실행력을 동시에 갖춘 리더십
• 다양한 조직 계층 및 문화 간 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 역량
• 문제 해결 중심의 사고 및 프로세스 개선 능력

필수 및 우대 요건 (Qualifications)

• 학사 학위 또는 이에 상응하는 실무 경험
• 팀 관리 경력 5년 이상
• 유지보수 또는 제조 환경 경력 5년 이상
• 외부 협력업체 관리 경력 3년 이상
• FAA 또는 동등한 규제 기관과의 협업 경험
• FAA Accountable Manager 경험 우대
• 항공, 제약 등 규제 산업 경험 우대
• 영어 필수 / 한국어 능력 우대
