Cyber Information Security/Assurance Engineer

Mayvin is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Information Security/Assurance Engineer to support a complex Army acquisition program focused on ground based radar systems. This role provides critical expertise in cybersecurity, information assurance, and program protection to ensure compliance with DoD cyber requirements across the lifecycle system. 

 

This position is pending contract award.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of IA, cybersecurity, and program protection requirements across supported systems and environments
• Apply expert knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure full compliance throughout system development and sustainment
• Oversee OEM contractors and Government depot facilities to verify proper execution of all cybersecurity and program protection requirements
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all applicable cybersecurity and IT certification standards and policies
• Ensure systems meet certification and compliance requirements outlined in DoD cybersecurity policies and guidance

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering; Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of Information Assurance experience is required. At least 5 must be specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation; design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems; integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems
• Hold and maintain a current CISSP (or DoD 8570.01 M equivalent) IA/Cyber certification
