Reporting to the Assistant Director (Development), the appointee will play a key role in enhancing the University’s outreach and fundraising efforts. The responsibilities include:
- Drafting and editing a variety of high-quality bilingual materials (English and Chinese), including proposals, concept notes, donor reports, gift agreements, acknowledgment letters, presentations, and other stewardship communications.
- Creating compelling content for fundraising collateral in close collaboration with internal teams and departments.
- Planning and organizing stewardship and networking events for donors and prospective donors.
- Supporting fundraising initiatives led by the Director of Development and Alumni.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least 8 years of relevant work experience. A high level of proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential, along with strong communication and facilitation skills. The ideal candidate will be creative, proactive, and able to multitask effectively. They should also be a collaborative team player, knowledgeable about fundraising practices, and committed to quality assurance.
(Duration: 2 years, subject to performance review and availability of funding.)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
