Build, optimize and deploy platforms for Google data center hardware (server, storage, switch, rack or accelerator) at the global manufacturing partners.
Partner with the NPI team to define Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements and provide input to the manufacturing strategy. Lead NPI early engagement with NPI team and transition to sustaining.
Provide caliber manufacturing engineering support for new and existing products. Lead product qualification to improve bill of material multi-source and support capacity expansion.
Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures. Collaborate with Google engineers and manufacturing partner engineers to drive improvement for product manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness including test coverage and reduce cost.
Drive, support and manage product changes to improve product design or manufacturing performance.
