Service Sales Manager

OVERVIEW:

The Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding brand awareness for KSB SupremeServ products and services throughout the Southeast region of the United States. This role develops strategic relationships with customers, identifies new business opportunities, and delivers technical solutions that support customer operations across mining, power, water, and industrial markets.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with consultative sales experience and thrives in a customer-facing environment. This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory and close collaboration with service, engineering, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer support and long-term partnership success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer engagement for KSB SupremeServ products and services
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities
  • Promote and present value-driven service solutions to end users within mining, power, water, and industrial markets
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and occasional field support related to pumps, rotating equipment, and pumping systems
  • Support the development, implementation, and renewal of service agreements and maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer records using CRM platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, field service, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure all work activities are performed in compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards

QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical sales, service sales, or account management within industrial equipment or rotating equipment industries
  • Experience with pumps, slurry pumps, rotating equipment, gear reducers, or related industrial systems strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Experience supporting mining, power generation, water, or industrial processing markets preferred
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel approximately 60% within the Southeast region of the United States

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent travel to customer sites, industrial facilities, and field environments
  • Ability to safely navigate manufacturing plants, mines, and industrial job sites
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, standing, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
